Potluck and Potlatch

Sylvan Community Center, 7521 Community Drive, Citrus Heights

The Potlatch is also called a celebration of giving. It is based on northwestern American native customs, and consists of bringing things to give away. They can be new, they can be old, they can be handmade, they can be whatever you are moved to give. You are, of course, invited to take those things that others have brought. Come and explore this ancient prosperity practice on the third Sunday of each month. DECADES We continue Decades at the potluck on February 18. Table mates are encouraged to share information about the second decade of their lives, ages 20-30. Feel free to bring a couple of photos or another object for “show and tell.”
